Rev Bill Crews comes across as a tolerant preacher and broadcaster. I have had a few nice conversations with him over the years. I also felt, many “Christians” do not like his style too.

Today, he was trying to start a conversion about Burqa and I rang his radio program after 8.00 PM without any success. However, when I used a different phone, I got through easily and I spoke to his producer. He told me, the board is full and he won’t be able to call me back! I hope it is not a blockade.

Earlier, I was compelled to say, “… Most importantly, Australian media outlets including talk back radios are audaciously manipulative, explicitly restricted, brazenly robotic and drifting from reality … “ in Convicted Genes Oriented Judgment?.

Rev Bill Crews and his staffs may tell us more about this issue anyway.

I made attempts in Burkah, Fear and Paranoia Based on Prejudice and Bigotry, Belgian Prejudice and Bigotry and other forums to say that ignorance, prejudice and bigotry has overtaken the burqa debate and the real people are not getting an opportunity to say anything about this issue or any other issues for that matter as evidenced by my experience. To the best of my knowledge, many decent Muslims have made attempts to communicate with the wider world without a good success and many of them virtually gave up unlike me.

I have been trying to communicate but brick walls and bulldozers are trying to decimate me!

I hope Rev Bill Crews may clear the air in this regard.

Burkah, Fear and Paranoia Based on Prejudice and Bigotry

I don’t care whether some one wears a burkah or not. But I do care if some one is forced to wear a burkah I also care if burkah is used to commit any crime. To the best of my knowledge I have not seen any statistics in this regard. However, I have heard can be, could be, may be, might be, … types of supposition, and possibility billions of time. These types of irrational and illogical fear and paranoia based on prejudice and bigotry are prevalent in our society.

The former Prime Minister of Australia John Howard managed to win two un-winnable elections by using fear and paranoia based on prejudice and bigotry. His last bastion was the Northern Territory Intervention at the expense of Aboriginal people. Yet, after all of this vicious and creative propaganda:

1. Not one person was prosecuted for sexual abuse.

2. Not one hospital was built.

3. Not one school was built.

In this occasion, half Israeli Nicolas Sarkozy got many personal and political failures. In order to divert attention from his own shortcomings he has abused and misused the burkah issue. Yet, it is not an issue in the French media. However, burkah is the headline news in some countries including Australia due to the never ending vendetta of some ill-motivated tabloid media and other instrumentalities.

By the way, no one is telling non-Muslims how to dress, eat or behave. Yet every Tom, dick and Harry thinks that they have got some divine rights to tell the Muslims what to do or not to do! Why is it so? May I ask?

Is it because Islam and Arab bashing is the most popular sport in the town?

People who seek moral guidance from the toilet blocks of suburbia scream about the burkah and become self appointed saviors of Muslim women! Isn’t it funny and peculiar?

Anthropologically the pagans, Jews, Christians and many non Muslims used to wear the burkah and still they do to seek protection from the nature and environment. Burkah got many advantages in some environment and it is not a tool of oppression or anything of that nature. It could be a fixation of some people.

So, let’s remove prejudice and bigotry from the burkah debate and think freely.

"He (Bernardi) goes out there and says that's what he wants to do," he told the Seven Network on Friday.

"Mr Abbott then says it's not their policy... they are walking both sides of the street."

Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Opposition Leader Tony Abbott later agreed the Islamic burqa was a "confronting" and "challenging" form of clothing.

Neither Ms Gillard nor Mr Abbott said their parties proposed banning the garment worn by some Islamic women.

"It was a personal view of Corey's, it's not a Liberal party policy," Mr Abbott told the Nine Network.

"I find it a pretty challenging form of attire and I would prefer it wasn't widely worn."

Ms Gillard said she understood the feelings of Australians about the burqa and wanted schools to teach equality between men and women.

"I can understand Australians that do find it a bit confronting, it's a little different on our streets," she told the Nine Network.

"It's something for people to think about, I don't think it actually makes a difference trying to ban an article of clothing, I'm not sure that's what we want to do.

"We want to make sure there is teaching in our schools and society generally that men and women are equal."

Australian Greens spokeswoman on the status of women Sarah Hanson-Young said Abbott and Bernardi have zero credibility as advocates for women's rights.

"If people want to start banning items of apparel, perhaps we could start with budgie-smugglers?" Senator Hanson-Young told AAP.

"I personally find them quite offensive."

Fitness fanatic Mr Abbott is often filmed and photographed running around in his Speedo swimmers.

Anyway, the NSW Labor Party basically owns workers! They can parachute themselves to any union movements. They are also free to take bribes and sell out workers rights as identified in Ghost and Gas – No Conspiracies. They have done so many times before.

Taxi Driver Entitlement under the Law was demolished due to The NSW TWU’s Crime against Taxi Drivers! It was a taxi driver sellout by the NSW TWU leaders like Harry Quinn and his gangs. They did so in pursuit of financial gains and according to the news reports of that time, Mr. Quinn had deposited a large amount of cash at the Commonwealth Bank, Eastwood Branch. When he was questioned, “Mr. Quinn, how did you get this money”? His reply was, “winning from the races”.

Yesterday, Ms. Lee Rhiannon MLC went on to ask a few questions of Reg Kermode regarding Labor Party President Steve Hutchins Bribe Affairs, but, she was stopped by the Labor Party MLC!

Taxi Drivers’ Cry for Justice was decimated by the Demolition Team of Attorney General Jeff Shaw earlier! We have much documentation of this kind of behaviour. Today, even in the Parliament of NSW, no one can ask any question about bribe takings and wrong doings of the Labor Party identities!

NSW Labor Party President Steve Hutchins – Is He A Protected Person?

Personal friend of Reg Kermode and the founding Vice President of Cabcharge Limited Neil Robert Mayell and his son Robert Mayell are two enemies of taxi drivers indeed!

Robert Mayell and other Transport Workers Union identities organised a “phantom strike” at Granville Taxi Base, Sydney, NSW to defraud taxi drivers. They were assisted by labor lawyer Adam Hatcher under the instruction of current NSW Labor Party boss Steve Hutchins who was the Secretary/Treasurer of the TWU at that time. They did so against the wishes and interests of taxi drivers as modestly narrated in Ghost and Gas – No Conspiracies.

Today, at the NSW Upper House Inquiry, Ms. Lee Rhiannon of the NSW Greens made some efforts to ask a few good questions to Reg Kermode regarding this issue. Unfortunately, the NSW Labor Party MLC of the same Committee was a bit obstructive and thus in a way he blatantly protected the NSW TWU and leadership’s crime spree.

Obviously, I would like to know, “How did Reg Kermode manage to do this? Did he bribe TWU secretary Steve Hutchins, CC Connor, Adam Hatcher, … ?”

Ghost and Gas – No Conspiracies

According to the law of the land, the bailor is responsible for fuel and wash.

However, at the Industrial Relations Commission the “taxi mafia” made an application to pass the responsibility of fuel and wash to the bailees without any compensation whatsoever.

Further to ICAC Submission, long long ago; a “phantom strike” was called at Granville Taxi Base, Sydney, NSW of the ‘lucky country’! The TWU trouble shooter named Robert Mayell who used to work around the adjacent area quickly went over there and negotiated a settlement! The ‘Pay-in’ went down by five dollars!!

The following day, a number of taxi drivers were frog marched behind the “messiah” Robert Mayell at the Industrial Commission in front of CC Connor (NSW IRC Matter No 2383 of 1993).

No one is suggesting any conspiracy here! Poor Faruque and a few taxi drivers busted in anger and confronted the “messiah” Robert Mayell and the Transport Workers Union lawyer Adam Hatcher. During that time those new taxi drivers of Granville asked Faruque to be quiet and follow Mayell. Faruque told them, “I do not know who you are and I have not seen you in any of TWU meetings earlier – who are you people and what is the game going on here”?

Later many of these people confessed to Faruque and others that they were not even members of the TWU, many of them were not financial members of the union and the taxi bosses encouraged them to join in the TWU!

During the proceedings, the TWU lawyer said to CC Connor, “we reserve the right to oppose at a later date”.

The good CC Connor found the opportunity and then he keenly passed the responsibility of gas and wash to the bailees without any compensation whatsoever. He did so despite strenuous objections made to him by Faruque and other drivers.

The decision by CC Connor did not change the bailor/bailee remuneration principle or law, but he made a decision which was not opposed by the parties.

A few weeks later the LPG price jumped from $A0.20-$A0.30/L to $A0.50-$A0.60/L.

An application was made to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission on a different ground. After a futile exercise, the price went down for a while.

Today, who is increasing the LPG price and on what basis no one knows or cares. The net impact is the weaker party in the chain is carrying the burden while “taxi mafia” is laughing all the way to the bank. The TWU lawyer Adam Hatcher found a chamber at the higher end of the town and become a BARRISTER! The good union boss Steve Hutchins became the president of the NSW Labor Party and eventually a number one ticket SENATOR from NSW.

Taxi drivers made an appeal to the Full Bench.

After a long and costly exercise, we found out that only the TWU have the right to represent taxi drivers at the Industrial Commission! During that hearing the rights and wrongs of the actual case were not discussed.

That means, in reality the court said the TWU can do whatever they like and they can ignore their own taxi driver members all together or their welfare! They are virtually not answerable to anyone. The union bosses do not have to follow justice, fairness, courtesy or common sense! Since then the union removed a few bi-laws of their own constitution i.e. they don’t have to advance the well being of their own members”. The law is same today.

Whether we drivers like it or not, even if the TWU got any taxi driver members or not they will decide the bailee taxi drivers working conditions. No matter, how sad, immoral and unlawful they are.

Faruque and others used to expose them in the media. However, the union bosses used to make attempts to trap taxi drivers and block them from the media, parliament, etc. etc. Some of the documents are very revealing.

I say, the most tragic thing of my life is that knowing and dealing with the NSW Transport Workers Union.

It is proposed to introduce a daily petrol price information scheme, popular in WA and which has reduced volatile price changes to once per day. By 4pm the next day's price is shown on the computer. No mention of gas prices or gouging by the ACCC, of course. Our in house historian Mr. Ahmed, tells of an IRC "temporary decision" some years ago which, thanks to the TWU made drivers pay for fuel, whereas previously Bailors paid (or bailors/bailees split the costs?).

Faruque reckons taking this to the IRC for review is too difficult and costly. He reckons Parliament, somehow. Any specific advice, Faruque/Ernie suggest IPART gives us a handout for fuel price increases. That's the easiest approach, no doubt, albeit in June/July from memory and a massive amount of work if we do the full Monty! (Should IPART be added to our Calendar?) (BTW, why are radio jobs so poorly returned, Ernie?

The other string in the bow would be the currently poor responses to radio booking which are now even less attractive than before. May be some of us have forgotten the fact that 2007 Israeli invasion of Lebanon was illegal and immoral. Mighty Israelis continued their assault on Lebanese civilians as Lebanon does not have Army, Navy and Air Force.

Iran got more sophisticated weaponry and they are in a very high moral ground supported by almost everyone of this world.

Therefore; Israel must renounce violence, manipulation and deception for it’s own existence. Israel can survive by opting for real peace and rejecting violence and aggression.

What’s wrong With Iran?

As far as Iran goes please consider the followings:

Iran is not running the longest running concentration camps known to mankind located inside occupied Palestine with a stamp of infinity.

Iran is not murdering unarmed kids in their mum’s cradle, schoolyard and backyard.

Iran is not murdering other nationals by using friendly nation’s passports and protection.

Iran has not used phosphorous bombs to Civilians of Gaza.

Iran has not invaded Lebanon and murdered civilians.

Iran has not bombed Syria.

Iran is not distributing passports from God to ethnically cleanse Arabs (Muslims and Christians).

Iran is not a holy land.

Iranians are not ‘chosen’ people.
